Lee's Movie Info - Visitor Ratings For Freddy vs Jason

Let?s face it. We are not watching this movie for a solid story line. So it is not fare to criticize it for its lack of one (well there was kind of one). This is strictly a ?guilty pleasure? movie. Not bad acting from the cast. Not good acting either, just somewhere in the middle. Then again we did not watch this for the acting either. And if you did watch this movie because you wanted to see a solid story line and good acting. What are you smoking?

This movie pits two of the most popular horror film icons EVER against each other. We got to see them both take out teenagers in their own unique style. We got to hear screams, see blood, see more blood and say to ourselves what on earth was that kid thinking. This movie had everything from the stoner, the crazy kid, the ?I?m not scared of you? kid, the kid with the screwed up parent and the party kids. This had all the making of a classic horror film. And that is exactly what we got. This may not have been as good as the original film in each franchise. But it was a great film for fans of both ?Teen Murderers?. My biggest question was. I never new Crystal Lake was within driving distance from Elm Street, or walking distance in Jason?s case!

Is it wrong to say I enjoyed this film? I do not think so! I am actually looking forward to the DVD release and the next sequel. With this new shot of adrenaline I would like to see a movie in each franchise and then throw them back together for round 2. If some of the rumors are true and ?Ash? from ?The Evil Dead? is really going to appear in the next film, it is only going to get bloodier. I mean better. I mean more of a guilty pleasure. Some things are Okay to feel guilty about!
