The third installment in the Harry Potter series is exhilarating and a beautiful film to watch. It is also the most debated of the three due to the choice of director. POA is a much darker film and has a few serious moments that were not present in the previous two films. However, if you have read the books, as most of the world has, you?ll notice the book is the same way. I stick by the decision to go with Alfonso Cuar?n.
Yes, this one has a different feel. I think it was time. Another one of the same would begin to get stale. Some say Alfonzo has trouble with pacing. I found it to be satisfying. It started slow, and built up to an enthralling ending.
I believe this film to be the best in the series. This new choice of director combined with Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe coming into their own as actors has pushed this series over the edge from good movies to great. The art direction and writing was awesome and the special effects where captivating. After seeing this one, I am anxiously awaiting the rest.
If your a Harry Potter fan, you will definitely enjoy this ride. If your thinking of becoming a fan, see this movie first. Then go back and see the other two. You will become a fan right away, and it will help you enjoy the other two more.
