This is an amazing film. I'm a standup comic, so to me the movie was not only one of the funniest movies I've ever seen but it is also an important movie. Be clear, the language in this movie and the images it invokes are, in a word, filthy. But that quickly fades to the background as the intense love these comics have for their craft shines through. Drew Carey, George Carlin, Sarah Silverman, Doug Stanhope, and on and on. To see behind the scenes and get a glimpse into their world is an opportunity that most viewers have never had and may not have for a long time to come. If you miss this film you'll regret it.
One proviso: if you believe there are certain things we just shouldn't joke about, give this one a pass. You likely won't be able to get past the vulgarity. Cheers.
