In stylized Miller-fashion exults the great warrior-honor spirit of the fierce and unmatched Spartans. Demonstrates the power that free men have over those who are made to "submit" and enslaved to a now-defunct religious nation/empire. Recalls Charlton Heston's great "El Cid" another fantastic true story of the re-taking of Spain from the islamic empire in the 12th century (known as al-Andalus by Muslims before again, in the 15th century, Elizabeth II re-took the country).
