Product Description
Writer/director Steve Oedekerk (The Nutty Professor and Ace Ventura 2: When Nature Calls) creates an off-the-wall comedy and a new martial arts genre that substantially alters dubbed action footage from a 1970's martial arts picture with a brand new twist in the story line and altered dialogue. The story follows The Chosen One (Oedekerk) as he seeks to avenge the death of his parents at the hands of the evil and seemingly indestructible kung fu legend, Master Pain.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 4, 2025I begrudgingly saw this in theaters because the movie I wanted to see was sold out. I ended up laughing the entire time. This has become one of those movies my brothers and I quote nonstop. Just watched it again and it's still great.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 24, 2025Kung Pow is a silly movie to have on while on the couch. I had seen it years ago, but I didn't know about the original 70's movie and how the modern 2000's actor was spliced into the older movie.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2025I saw this movie as a kid and bought it to show my fiancé. She loved it. It's a good non-thinking comedy. If your a fan of stupid comedy and old kung-fu movies, you'll love this. Especially if your a fan of april 20th.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 19, 2025I wish I could give 1 million stars. WIIIIIOOO WIIIIIOOO WEEEEEE
- Reviewed in the United States on December 15, 2024I didn't ask who you liked. I don't care what comedy you like more. This is the best comedy of all time. It is ridiculously stupid. The entire plot makes no sense:
A man who was abandoned as a baby rises through challenges by learning kung fu with a talking tongue and has to battle increasingly difficult enemies like a cow, an actual cow that knows kung fu, in order to defeat his childhood nemesis Betty who is under control by the French. How can you not enjoy this movie???!! 20/10 will watch forever.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2024I saw this years ago, then re-watched it a couple months ago... Ugh.. LOL. It's so dang silly. It's bits and pieces of an old 70's Kung Fu movie overdubbed with childish goofy rhetoric, and modern added scenes to create a whole new goof-ball movie. It's SEVERELY immature at most.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 28, 2025Absolutely a childhood favorite. Highly recommend watching, especially with friends for ultimate laughs
- Reviewed in the United States on July 23, 2012This movie is one of those that has often puzzled me, because its not the type of movie I typically enjoy. A spoof in almost every sense of the word, but not in the way that The Naked Gun movies or the Airplane! movies are spoofs, nor in the way that Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein are spoofs. Those movies are silly and zany, but they have an underlying cleverness to them, a wit masked by lunacy, an intelligently unhinged charm. This movie isn't very witty, nor particularly clever, and really pretty devoid of intelligence. But it has zaniness, silliness, and charm in spades. I went into it thinking I would hate it. But after the first viewing, I was hooked. My brothers and I watched it frequently. We recited lines. The stupid one liners and affectionately over-forced character tics made their way into our daily conversations. Eventually we could nearly recite the film from memory. These days, I'm not home as much as I used to be. I only visit a few times a year. But it seems like we still make time to put this movie on, at least once a year, and we sit back and remember all the laughs we had. I still laugh til I cry every time I watch this movie. And sometimes I watch it at home and let myself be reminded of that wonderful time spent with my brothers, reciting lines to a movie few others saw, and saying stupid things that no one thought was funny but us.
Recently I tried getting my friends to watch this with me. Some of them shrug it off. "Meh, it was ok. It had some funny parts." Others don't seem to care much for it at all. A few of them like it almost the way my brothers and I like it, but not quite.
To me, this movie will always remind me of family. And it will always be my favorite stupid, stupid, stupid, wonderful movie.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bouleversant.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kung Pow Enter the Fist DVD the Master of Kungfusion
