Resurrection picks up the thread of Halloween: H2O, with poor Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) now in a psychiatric hospital and determined to shut down homicidal Michael Myers once and for all. After this prologue, the story shifts to the old Myers house, where a TV reality show has enticed six teenagers to spend a single night in the spooky home. Needless to say, things are spoiled when Michael barges in: "I so did not sign up for this," sighs the young heroine, when the bloodletting begins. The mayhem is being broadcast live on the Internet, which makes the film a bit like Rear Window with Instant Messaging. The interesting premise is routinely handled, but that's enough to make this one of the better sequels in the series. Maybe they finally finished off Michael in this one, wink wink. --Robert Horton

    Got the awesome collectors edition from the 15 disc box set for $38 and it kind of gives me a little taste of what the rest of the Halloween’s special features! The movie itself is a guilty pleasure it’s not all great but it still a Halloween film so I can’t pass it up! At this price it’s awesome I paid the price when I can see that the original brand new price for just the regular blu Ray is $80 and I got the collectors edition for $38! Big shout out to Half Price Books and a very big thank you, even if it is just Halloween Resurrection.

    Sure it is no where near being as good as the original, but as a fan of the Halloween's I love them all including this somewhat cheesy attempt to keep the story going. If you are going to believe that a man can be shot and blown up and all that other stuff and can still live on then you cannot complain about this flick. Plus it has great comedic one liners that will make you laugh. My opinion is that is still better than half the crap they make nowadays!

    Ever since the very first Halloween movie, I have been hooked on this series. I have to admit, the only ones that I own are the ones with Jamie Lee Curtis in them, mainly because it's a continuation of the original. I honestly didn't expect much out of this one, but I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be pretty good, and I don't think you will be disappointed in this movie, either.

    On terms of story line, this movie is not the strongest Halloween, but the first part of the film is what you get your moneys worth. They explain how he is still alive from H20, and it isn't corny. Nothing supernatural, dont worry. Then a shocking moment happens when Michael and Laurie confront each other again. It's edge of your seat stuff. What I also really liked is the crazy guy explaining Michael's killing career and he ignores Halloween 4,5, and 6. Those of you Halloween nerds, like myself, that hated 5 and 6 will love that. After the nut-ward scene of the movie, it is just a body count movie. Halloween has never really been a body count movie, until this one.

    That is why so many people didnt like this Halloween, because it didn't have much of a story. It was just Michael walking around his house killing people. I love the Friday the 13th series, and those are the body count movies, so of course I liked this Halloween. Don't expect H20, if you loved that movie. This Halloween really stands alone. It's really fun and has a few good scares. Check it out.
