    I haven't watched this movie in years, but I felt compelled to watch it today and it's as good as I remember if not better. It's sad how many brothers end up falsely accused and incarcerated by a system that doesn't care who did it as long as someone gets arrested. The movie is compelling and filled with action and well dialogued scenes. Master P is the perfect heel and the ending is sad but also powerful. 5 stars for sure!

    I was so surprised when watching this movie, i was thinking, here we go another low budget gang movie, but actually it wasn't that at all.

    It was masterful, the acting was superb, and you felt the emotions of the characters. I thought Master P was fantastic as the prison top dog, and Avery's character was also portrayed brilliantly.

    As a watcher of the movie i must admit i was a bit disturbed by the scenes between the character "Dre" and the one gang lord.You felt genuinely sorry for this man locked in the cell.It must have taken the actor alot of courage to film those scenes.

    I am glad that was portrayed though because as we know prison is like that.

    Overall it was a gritty, wonderful, mindblowing Movie!

    I remember watching this movie years ago and I thought it was a probably the most violent prison movie that I have seen. Watching it again now after all of these years I still think the movie is ok, but not as good as I thought it was when I first saw it. That seems to be happening to me with quite a few movies that I have not seen in a while but I don't know why, maybe it is because I am older, I don't know. Anyway all in all I would give this movie 6/10 because it is not great but is still a good watch especially if you like prison movies.
