    I was surprised how much I like it. It's reminiscent of the movie for sure while listening to it. I LOVE the movie, huge A+ for "Coyote Ugly", especially ALL of the actresses, the story line for this little new to New Yorker Violet, and the devotion of the bar owner, and all the girls to each other. Very entertaining movie. CD Does sound like Piper Perabo, Violet the singer in this movie, and she is fantastic, and is what I was looking for. LeAnn Rimes gets all singing credits on this CD, and she makes everything she does sound exactly like the songs are, in the movie. So important!

    I actually first purchased this music collection of the Coyote Ugly soundtrack back in April 7, 2007 when I was still living in Florida (through the United States Navy). There are a multiple number of hits on the Coyote Ugly Soundtrack such as All She Wants To Do is Dance by Don Henley, Can’t Fight The Moonlight by Leann Rimes, Power by Snap, Unbelievable by EMF, Devil Went Down to Georgia by Charlie Daniels Band etc. The movie itself is pretty decent as well. Nonetheless, the Coyote Ugly Soundtrack is perfect for those who like eclectic music and/or liked the Coyote Ugly movie.

    Music is excellent, just what I expected. However, the spindle holding the CD in the case was damaged, so CD was loose. Thank goodness did not get scratched. Why are CDs still packed in 1980s fragile clear plastic cases that crack and damage so easily? I do remember when getting CDs from Amazon they were packed for shipping in a cardboard sleeve that was tacky inside, so they did not move in shipping and rarely got damaged. No more; any time I order a CD it's a crap shoot. They come in envelopes or floating around banging in a cardboard box; usually greater than 50% chance of damage.
