Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
All the songs are good, AR at his best. Lukka Chuppi is my favorite. I owned an audio CD previously, but I lost it, so I bought the MP3 they are just great songs. Even after 5 years of it release I listen to them at least once in a week.
I am not a Music critic but being a big fan of the movie's music i just felt the need to appreciate it and let the world discover the good music of this movie. and i also didn't like that no one has given their review for this movies music... it deserves some acknowledgment....
anyway the title track 'Rang De basanti' is undoubtedly the best. The lyrics are so meaningful they touch your heart. at least being being an indian it touched mine. Another College guys song singing about their carefree life... 'pathshala' is also pretty good.... it just make you dance on hearing it. The song ' Khalbali' touches the essence of the movie. and when u see it in the movie u really appreciate directors intelligence... same is the case with another track ' Rubaroo'... when the song starts it touches your heart. there is one romantic song that's good too.
all in all i feel this is the best music by a.r rahman IMO.
When you first play this CD, it hardly catches your attention. Only after repeated playing, as in case of all AR Rehman songs, you will start liking the album.
And once you start liking it, you are reallly going to enjoy all the songs. The title song itself is worth the amount you pay for the album. AR Rehman has once again scored thougthful music. As always he layers multiple tracks in his music so it takes time for our mind to "decode" all the tracks and enjoy the song to its fullest.
Go ahead and buy the album particularly if you like AR Rehman's music.
Superb soundstage! great pressing from Sony. but I doubt if this has been done from an analog recording. It seems this is digital to analog press. But I am happy of the fact that Sony is doing this at least for us Analog lover. Thanks to Sony and Amazon for bring this to us. Cheers Amit
