Huge Star Wars Upset

Harry Knowles

by Lee Tistaert

"You can thank Knowles for the move. We don't want any reviews (especially of the circumstances that he went upon) out as early as Harry published his. This should teach sites like his a message when it comes to inside scoop. This isn't just a message to Knowles, however, but more of a statement to everyone that Hollywood will not tolerate bootlegs. And this is my way of telling people that this is not acceptable. Hopefully this will be the one upset that changes things for the better."
- George Lucas (writer/director of Attack of the Clones)

He delayed Rollerball...he's the person studios are afraid of...and now, Knowles hit the God of speed bumps.

George Lucas postpones Star Wars: Attack of the Clones (from May 16) and pens it for February 7, 2003 (home of big box office debuts like Hannibal and Scream 3) due to popular webmaster, Harry Knowles' extra early and illegal review of the film. Lucas was hesitant on whether to postpone it due to one single person's actions, but he does comment on the issue. Highlight the text below for his further statement, which is rather hush-hush (hence the highlight).

"APRIL FOOLS!!!!!
...
it would be pretty frustrating if it really DID happen, huh? Please scroll down a bit and respond to the poll."
