Finally, somebody did it right! While the story of Batman is nothing new, Christopher Nolan treated it with the respect the character has deserved since day one. The screen play that he and David Goyer created is nothing short of brilliant. The sense of realism throughout the entire production combined with a Batman that actually treats criminals with the intimidation and violence that they utilize themselves makes this movie a must see. The first 30 minutes or so addressing Bruce Wayne's training was well done. It filled a gap that the other four movies totally ignored. Making the weapons Batman uses, including the Batmobile, mothballed military projects again fills a gap and also lends a credible explanation the origins of all of these "tools".
In short, the entire movie is an "A+". I hope there are several more to come.
