High Concept:
Earth core is exploding, it melts every thing it touches.
some one has to save people leaving on its surface.
Act 1:
The US president is in his way to attend a launch of new weapon stronger than nuclear bomb. The new bomb will be launched for the first time in a very deep location below the surface of the Pacific Ocean. The president is very much enthusiastic and happy that US is now have a new weapon stronger than nuclear bomb ? which become in the hand of many countries ? so this will represent a very competitive and edge.
One of the scientists who found this bomb, is very much skeptic about the results which could happen in this test. His theory says that major biological and geographical changes will happen in the ocean and earth crust, but no one listen to him.
The ceremony continue, the test take place, all the measuring instruments explain that it is successful one, a small empty island disappear as expected. In his speech the president apprize the founders and threaten the rest of the world because America now is much more stronger and every one should follow her.
Act 2:
Later, one week after the ceremony, deep under the ocean surface, cracks starts to appear in the earth crust, the instruments starts to give unexplained signals. No one care.
The cracks are in the US side of the ocean.
The water in the ocean start to gradually warm up, fishermen notice this, fish escape from the ocean. Reports send but no one link it to the test expect that scientist who starts to worry and diagnose that there are some cracks in the crust surrounding the core of the each, the core which is very hot since million of years start to find its way to the surface, melting every thing in its way.
The water become hot in the pipes, the streets become hot and sticky, cars start to stick to it, every one became aware with the risk facing the west cost of the US, the president ask the scientist to do something to control the situation, and save millions of people. The scientist sees no solution, US, and Mexico should be evacuated as the craks may become bigger and bigger by time.
In a new speech, the US president asks for international aid form the rest of the world to immigrate Americans outside US.
Act 3:
The evacuation efforts starts, the rate of water evaporation from the ocean increases, the rain increases. It is a mess.
Our hero (the scientist) is build is plan on 2 arms, first evacuation which is taking place, 2nd cooling up the hot materials coming from the earth core. Study how to fill the cracks he is working faster against the time, some cities start to melt and engulfed down in the earth, and the lava start to come out as if there is many small volcanoes, our hero discover that it is a matter of time, the lava is cooling down in its way to the earth surface, more water from the ocean will faster the cooling process, but the big gain is that he saved many cities from the west cost in US and Mexico.
