I recently read a bio of Herbert Hoover. The U.S. President from 1929 to 1933. We've seen movies depicting the lives of other presidents, but nothing about this guy.
He was President during one of our most unstable periods of
America. He was also a Great Humanitarian. At the Age of
25 he and his young wife were in China during The Boxer Rebllion helping aid wounded during that conflict. He also
Helped run a campaign to help Feed hunger starving people in
Russina during the Bolshevik revolution. Despite U.S. criticism Hoover remarked something along the line of " 20 millions people are starving, their political views don't matter, they will be Fed!!" This is a poor pitch I know. But some talented writer should take this ball and run with it. Make a movie about a president who actually did some good as opposed to focusing on the negative aspects on others.
