Lenny, 13, is a kind and polite teenager. He has a loving family, a few close friends, and lives in a small quiet suburban town. One day a new public arcade opens in his town. Lenny liked the arcade, but there was really nothing that caught his eye. Then, towards the back of the arcade, Lenny spots a game titled, ?The Master?. The Master is a game in which you must save the queen who has been kidnapped, by an evil sorcerer. By saving her, one must go through many obstacles. (avoiding mummies, witches, etc.)
As time passes, the game becomes pretty popular. The kids living in the town, are always trying to complete for the high score. Just when the game starts to get old, Lenny becomes exceedingly addicted to it. Since ?The Master? requires money, per play, so the game gets pretty expensive for Lenny, who is totally hooked on it.
One day, Lenny?s elderly grandmother visits Lenny?s family. With Lenny being so desperate for money, he secretly steals his grandmother?s wallet from her purse. Lenny cannot even reflect on his actions, because he is too into the game to think about the incident. Nonetheless, after stealing his grandmother?s wallet, Lenny wakes up early to go to the arcade to practice having no audience.
Once Lenny plugs in the game and deposits the 2 quarters, something strange happens, and all of a sudden Lenny finds himself trapped inside the arcade game, having to save the queen, himself!
?The Arcade Master? could definitely be turned into a short, and a low-budget production. There aren?t many things needed to complete this, and when Lenny finds himself inside the game, there could just be his regular towns, except instead of his friends, and family, there just would be characters from ?The Master?. ( A witch, mummies, vampires, etc.) ?The Arcade Master?, could be turned into a powerful low budget action flick.
